Role
We are looking for an experienced Marketing Manager with a genuine interest in improving the landscape for education. You will work closely with the Founders to develop and execute strategic marketing initiatives with the objective of creating a strong brand presence, driving sales growth and supporting the overall business objectives. Responsibilities
Marketing Strategy and Planning
- Develop and implement marketing plans that align with the company's overall business objectives and brand vision.
- Analyse market trends, customer insights, and competitor activities to refine marketing strategies and identify growth opportunities.
- Prepare and manage the marketing budget, ensuring that resources are allocated effectively and that campaigns are delivered within budget.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, i.e. Marketplace, Early Years, Student Care and Events to ensure alignment and support for marketing initiatives.
Brand Management
- Manage and maintain the company's brand identity across all channels, ensuring consistency in messaging, tone, and visual elements.
- Develop and execute branding initiatives to enhance the company's reputation and differentiate it from competitors.
- Oversee the creation of marketing materials, including brochures, presentations, and digital assets.
Digital Marketing
- Lead the development and execution of digital marketing campaigns, including SEO/SEM, email marketing, social media, and content marketing.
- Manage the company's online presence, including the website, blog, and social media platforms, ensuring that content is engaging and up to date.
- Monitor and analyse the performance of digital campaigns, using data-driven insights to optimise efforts.
Community Engagement and Events
- Plan and execute events, workshops, and promotional activities to engage the Agora community and attract new sign-ups.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to create meaningful experiences that resonate with our target audience.
Skills and experience required
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in marketing, preferably in a startup environment or related industry.
- Proven track record in developing and executing successful marketing campaigns.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing, including social media, SEO/SEM, email marketing, and content marketing.
- Excellent planning and execution capabilities. Comfort with working with tools such as ClickUp and working on clear timelines for deliverables.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Experience with marketing tools and platforms, such as Google Analytics, social media management tools, and CRM systems.
