About Our Client
Our client is a leading retail player. They offer a diverse range of products from groceries and fresh produce to household essentials across their stores. It is a growing organization that is expanding their offerings to the international market.
They are currently looking to hire their Key Account Manager who will be responsible for building the key account business across the region and growing the business through sales, expanding distribution and identifying new categories.
Job Description
- Collaborate with distributors to develop and enhance key account relationships.
- Partner with distributors to implement business execution strategies within the allocated budget.
- Oversee the implementation of plans, programs, and activities for distributor markets according to the marketing calendar.
- Manage and coordinate all public relations events.
- Oversee and execute business plans and programs approved by the International Business Group.
- Implement and manage all approved trade marketing initiatives.
- Provide regular updates to key stakeholders on business plans and the status of program execution.
- Conduct market checks to ensure product availability, monitor competitor pricing and promotions, and report on market trends and category developments.
The Successful Applicant
- A minimum of 10 years' experience in key account management within the consumer sector, with a strong background in Regional, Commercial, and Distributor Management.
- Proven expertise in Trade Marketing for consumer products is essential.
- Experience in product launches is highly advantageous.
- Demonstrated entrepreneurial spirit and ability to take initiative.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
