Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop IoT systems that integrate with existing infrastructure using Modbus protocols and Node-RED.
- Implement data acquisition solutions to collect and transmit data from various IoT devices and sensors.
- Configure and manage Modbus communication protocols (TCP/IP, RTU) to ensure reliable data transfer between IoT devices and control systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Modbus connectivity and communication.
- Develop and maintain Node-RED workflows to process and visualize IoT data.
- Create custom nodes and integrate third-party APIs to enhance Node-RED functionalities.
- Monitor IoT systems for performance, security, and data integrity.
- Optimize system configurations and workflows for enhanced efficiency and scalability.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, engineering, and operations, to ensure successful IoT integration and deployment.
The Successful Applicant
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Equivalent work experience will also be considered.
- Min. 2 years of experience as an IoT System Analyst or similar role, with a focus on Modbus and Node-RED.
- Hands-on experience in configuring and managing Modbus protocols (TCP/IP, RTU).
- Proficiency in developing and managing Node-RED workflows for IoT applications.
- Familiarity with scripting languages such as JavaScript or Python.
