Join our client's Singapore team and become a key player in the world of financial data.
We are looking for an entry-level or junior ETF & Index Analyst who will play a crucial role in providing deep client support and ensuring data integrity and accuracy, especially in the areas of Exchange-Traded Funds (ETFs) and major indices.
In this role, you will collaborate closely with clients and vendors to streamline data normalization, manage corporate events, and enhance the overall client experience. Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Provide daily client support, addressing needs for ETFs and recommending improvements.
- Serve as a strong communicator, bridging the gap between technical and business aspects.
- Monitor and enhance the quality of data for regional ETFs and major indices to optimize the client experience.
- Analyze corporate actions (CAs) and ensure accurate application of data to ETFs and indices for client use.
- Offer real-time support for over 700 Portfolio Composition Files (PCFs) of ETFs, ensuring timely delivery before the European market opens.
- Conduct thorough data quality checks on client-facing platforms, performing sanity and validation checks.
- Address and troubleshoot client queries related to PCFs and major index issues, utilizing your in-depth knowledge of workflows and calculations.
- Collaborate with the team or work independently to propose enhancements to data normalization and aggregation processes, continuously improving data quality.
- Demonstrate an entrepreneurial spirit by solving problems, setting up, and streamlining internal processes using VBA, Python, and SQL.
Skills Need as
Qualifications and Experience:
- A Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized institution, with preference given to degrees in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Engineering.
- Fresh graduates to 5 years of relevant experience.
- Broad understanding and keen interest in Financial Markets and reference data, with specific knowledge and interest in ETFs and Indices.
- Ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced, and team-oriented environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, agile critical thinking, and a problem-solving demeanor, with acute attention to detail.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, proficiency in VBA, Python, and SQL is advantageous.
- Proactiveness, a strong willingness to learn, and excellent time management skills.
