Responsibilities:
- Develop and design software for automated semiconductor process equipment.
- Improve equipment performance through Continuous Improvement Programs (CIPs) and other development initiatives.
- Create software control flow and processes using UML diagrams based on requirements.
- Plan, design, and develop software and tests according to established procedures.
- Maintain existing systems by adding new features, fixing bugs, refactoring code, and optimizing performance.
- Provide field support for system upgrades and resolve customer issues.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of programming experience in a Windows (XP and above) environment.
- Proficiency in C++, VC++, MFC, SQL, and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
- Extensive experience in developing multi-threaded control software, with knowledge of SEMI SECS/GEM equipment connectivity standards and the Software Development Life Cycle.
- Experience with hardware components such as Servo, Stepper Motion Controllers, Analog Devices, and High-Speed I/O.
- Knowledge of PLC systems is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
