As the company is constantly growing, we are seeking for a qualified CCTV System & Security Engineer to join the team.
Roles and Responsibilities
We are looking for a qualified CCTV System & Security Engineer, who become the primary point of contact for the customer. Responsible for project implementation, installation and commissioning of the surveillance systems.
- Understand and ensure that both customer needs and technical requirements are met throughout the lifecycle of each project
- Understand of CCTV & Security System operation & function, and maintain a high level of knowledge in security concepts
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and design custom solutions
- Conduct site survey, attend the customer site location for meetings, and to oversee the project deployment
- Plan, lead and deploy CCTV & Security System
- Effectively communicate the customers' requirements to the Operations Team to allow the solution to be accurately built to the agreed specification
- Work closely with the Operations Team to understand project lead times, and effectively communicate this information to the customer
- Effectively agree, record and communicate project milestones and help develop associated formal processes and relevant documentation
- Responsible for carrying out operating tasks related to CCTV systems, such as monitoring footage and recording footage
- Check for available firmware updates for cameras, recorders, and other system components
- Monitor, evaluate and perform necessary upgrades/updates to ensure optimal performance and security
- Ensure rules and regulations are carried out in compliance with internal procedures
- Ensure compliance with CCTV code & security requirements
- Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget and meet the highest quality standards
- Provide technical support, training, guidance and assistance to clients and internal sales team
- Stay updated to industry trends and market practices
- Conduct daily check on installation works
- Ensure proper documentation is in order
- Other ad-hoc duties as assigned
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Engineering (Electrical & Electronic, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Computer Science, Telecommunication, Information System or the equivalent)
- At least 1-2 years of working experience in telecommunication industry especially in security, electronic, surveillance, or IP video industry
- Prior experience dealing with security access control systems, CCTV, and alarm system products/systems will be ideal
- Good knowledge of telecommunication, cabling, configuring router, network switch, wireless bridge and others IT hardware
- Knowledge in basic IT, M&E, networking and structure cabling
- Efficient, good analytical skills and able to work independently
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to cope with flexible working hour
- Able to start work immediately or short notice
