Overview:
This position requires a combination of strong interpersonal skills, excellent organizational abilities, and a keen understanding of business development strategies. The ideal candidate will be able to effectively manage a busy schedule, provide administrative support, and actively contribute to the growth of the company.
Responsibilities:
Business Development:
- Client Acquisition: Identify, develop, and maintain relationships with potential clients.
- Sales: Generate new business opportunities and close deals.
- Market Research: Conduct market research to identify new business avenues and trends.
- Networking: Attend industry events and conferences to build relationships and generate leads.
- Proposals: Prepare and present proposals to prospective clients.
Assistance:
- Calendar Management: Manage the executive's calendar, scheduling meetings and appointments.
- Travel Arrangements: Coordinate travel arrangements, including flights, accommodations, and transportation.
- Expense Management: Track and manage expenses.
- Correspondence: Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence, including emails, letters, and phone calls.
- Administrative Tasks: Provide general administrative support, such as filing, photocopying, and scanning.
- Other Tasks: Assist on any ad-hoc tasks assigned occasionally.
Qualifications requirement:
- A Bachelor's Degree or Post Graduate Diploma in a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience in business development or sales and willingness to learn/ to take on tasks beyond his/her role, when the need arises
- Strong interpersonal, negotiation, multitasking and communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A valid driver's license & travel flexibility is needed.
- Proficiency in both Mandarin and English will be an added advantage.
