Key Responsibilities
- Manage the daily operations of the Center, ensuring efficient scheduling, patient communication, and seamless coordination with other departments
- Supervise and support Center staff, providing guidance on patient interaction protocols, data management, and administrative processes
- Track, manage and optimise clinic resources in support of adequate resource utilisation
- Implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery and patient satisfaction
Missing Orders Management
- Manage missing orders, ensuring timely resolution and minimal disruption to patient care
- Collaborate with clinicians, lab technicians, and admnistrative staff to streamline workflows and reduce incidents of missing orders
- Liaise with data team to automate the Missing Orders for streamlining and efficiency
Trace Lab Coordination
- Assist in coordinating and tracking lab orders, including booking upcoming appointments on behalf of the patient and involves multi-disciplinary communications
Team Leadership
- Provide leadership and mentorship to staff within the Center, promoting professional development and a collaborative work environment
- Conduct regular performance evaluations, set clear objectives, and provide constructive feedback to drive continuous improvement
Cross Function Collaboration
- Collaborate with other departments such as Clinical Operations, IT, Finance, and Quality Assurance to optimise workflows, resolve operational issues, and support strategic initiatives
- Represent in meetings, committees, and external forums as required, performing secreteriat duties as required
- Any other duties as requested from Reporting Officer
Key Requirements
- Bachelor Degree in Healthcare or a related field
- Preferred 2 years experience in a supervisory role within a healthcare setting, experience in oncology or a specialised medical field will be an advantage
- Strong understanding of hospital operations, patient care pathways, and regulatory requirements
- Excellent organisational and communication skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Leadership qualities with a focus on team building, staff development, and fostering a positive work environment
- Problem-solving aptitude and a proactive approach to identifying operational efficiencies and implementing process improvements
