Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance of operations with Workplace Safety and Health/Environmental Control regulations and statutory requirements.
- Responsible for planning, implementing, and overseeing safety-related issues at the site.
- To planning of works and supervise allocated team of General Workers on site.
- Monitor and ensure project works progress as per planned schedule.
- Supervise all lifting activities and conduct briefing to all lifting team members on the Lifting plan, risk control measure and safe lifting procedure before the commencement of any lifting operation.
- Responsible for daily inspection and toolbox/ safety meeting.
- To provide technical and professional safety feedback to the site construction team.
- Assist in accident reporting and investigations.
- Assist in routine WSH audit as required.
- Inspect site to ensure site condition, facilities and equipment are in proper working condition and inspected in accordance with safety requirements.
- Participate in risk assessment activities for site.
- Liaise with main contractor on all related documents submission.
- Any other duties and responsibility as assigned by the site management.
Job Requirements
- Minimum 3 years relevant experience in Building and Construction Industry.
- Able to work independently and/or lead a team.
- Able to work long hours and able to converse English
- Certification in Advance Certificate in Workplace Safety and Health by BCA, Lifting Supervisor, Work at Height Supervisor.
- Workplace Safety & Health Coordinator will be advantage.
- Degree and/or Diploma in Building, Engineering will be advantage.
