Technical Delivery Manager

Drive continuous improvement initiatives, staying abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to enhance Business Glossary, Metadata management and Data lineage capabilities within the organization.

Technical Skills

1. 8+ years of experience in implementing data governance solutions with a strong background in deploying such solutions, encompassing both on-premise and cloud-based models.
2. Metadata Management Tools: Proficiency in using metadata management tools such as Informatica IDMC, IBM Watson Knowledge Catalog or equivalent tools (Collibra, Alation, Solidatus)
3. Data Lineage Tools: Experience with data lineage tools like Informatica IDMC, IBM Manta or similar solutions to establish and visualize end-to-end data flows. Identify and build both business and technical lineage, including strategies for fixing lineage breaks
4. Database Technologies: In-depth knowledge of various database technologies, including but not limited to Hadoop, Teradata, SAS, Oracle, Postgres, and Cassandra DB.
5. ETL/ELT Tools: Expertise in ETL/ELT tools like Informatica PowerCenter, SSIS, and other data integration platforms to understand and document transformation logic.
6. Scripting and Programming: Proficient in scripting languages (e.g., Bteq scripts, Spart ETL) and programming languages to support metadata extraction and manipulation.
7. Cloud Platforms: Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and their services relevant to metadata management and data governance. Strong background in addressing security considerations for cloud-based implementations is crucial, demonstrating the ability to design and implement secure solutions in alignment with industry standards.
8. On-Premise Container Solutions: Expertise with Red Hat Open Container Platform; showcasing proficiency in overcoming complexities related to deploying, managing, and optimizing applications in this environment. Integrate various components seamlessly and ensure a cohesive and efficient operation within the OpenShift cluster
9. Visualization Tools: Experience with data visualization tools such as Qlik, Microsoft Power BI, Tableau to create intuitive representations of metadata and data lineage.
10. Knowledge in Data modelling, working with calculations, leveraging the Set Analysis
11. Experience in Implementing RBAC policies for various user groups such as Data Owners, stewards, consumers/stakeholders etc within the metadata management tool
12. Implementation of out-of-the-box as well as custom workflows, user personas, custom reports / dashboards within the metadata management tool

Functional Skills

1. Business Glossary Management: Strong understanding of business glossary concepts and the ability to work with business stakeholders to define and manage business terms and their relationships.
2. Data Governance Frameworks: Knowledge of data governance frameworks and best practices, including BCBS239, and the ability to implement governance policies for metadata and data lineage.
3. Regulatory Compliance: Understanding of regulatory requirements related to data management, ensuring compliance in metadata and data lineage implementations.
4. Should have worked in large scale data warehouse & on-premise Power BI, Qlik based visualisation
