In this role, you will be part of a small, agile team responsible for the development and enhancement of in-house trading infrastructure using Go (or C/C++). You will collaborate closely with traders and DevOps teams to ensure the robustness and reliability of the systems that drive our trading operations.
Your work will involve identifying performance bottlenecks, optimizing code, and supporting the ongoing technical needs of a high-performing trading floor.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the go-to technical expert for troubleshooting and support.
- Collaborate with DevOps to maintain system stability and performance.
- Enhance storage, communication controls, and reporting functionalities.
- Develop and optimize algorithms for derivatives pricing, risk management, and trading analytics.
- Contribute to the integration and optimization of new trading products and exchange connections.
What We're Looking For:
- Ideally 7 + years of relevant experience in a fast-paced trading or financial environment.
- Proficiency in Go or C/C++, with a strong foundation in structured programming and system development.
- Hands-on experience with Linux, trading systems, and familiarity with FIX, websocket, and REST protocols.
- A solid understanding of financial markets, with knowledge of derivatives pricing theory being a plus.
- A proactive, detail-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently and make informed decisions in real-time.
