Responsibilities:
- Monitor the validity of vessel certificates and maintain electronic documents in the system.
- Assist the Technical Superintendent or Manager with preparing, monitoring, and controlling repair and maintenance budgets for the fleet.
- Support the Technical Superintendent/Manager with the quotation and requisition processes for services and store supplies.
- Help prepare technical specifications for dockings and other related tasks.
- Review and follow up on Planned Maintenance System (PMS) reports from vessels.
- Track and compile month-end reports from vessels.
- Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Technical Superintendent/Manager.
Requirements:
- Diploma or ITE in Marine Engineering or a related field (preferred maritime or engineering majors).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Ability to work independently.
- Capable of completing tasks promptly and meeting deadlines.
- A collaborative team player.
