Technical Product Support (TPS) Engineer III - (E3)

The AGS Technical Support Engineering organization (TSE) provides advanced remote and onsite technical support to Global FSO Site Teams. This job requisition is specifically for the TSE FEP team which provides technical support for 300mm FEP systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provides escalation support to FSO for 300mm Applied Materials FEP tools in need of repair, via CRM escalation notifications. Creates action plans & fishbone diagrams for the purpose of accelerating problem resolution and returning customer tools to a production-worthy state.
  • Acts as intermediary between FSO and the FEP BU by providing technical support and documentation to field engineers, technicians, and product support personnel who are diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing, and debugging equipment.
  • Learns new products and actively pursues opportunities for self-development for new/unfamiliar products.
  • Is an expert at troubleshooting Applied Materials equipment.
  • Creates original documentation for publishing in ARK.
  • Collaborates with multiple business units and Applied Material entities (FSO, SBU, BU, Engineering, obsolescence team).
  • Candidate for consideration must be proactive in nature and able to work without direct supervision and self-reliant.
