Job Purpose & Scope
- Process Technology Strategy: Develop and execute a process technology strategy, aligning with company’s global expand objectives. Identify opportunities for technological advancements and innovative solutions to address challenges.
- Production Optimization: Develop strategy in optimizing production process to increase product yield and production efficiency.
- Team Building: Review the team set-up; Recruit, lead, and mentor a high-performing process team. Foster a collaborative and innovative culture within the team, encouraging them to deliver exceptional results and drive technological solutions to our plants.
- Team Management: Overview the activities of the process technology team (explore new process technologies, develop technical modification proposal, responsible for the design and scale up of new technology developed in house )
Detail Responsibility
- Formulate the process optimization strategy and execute with the process technology team
- Provide process expertise to the group
- Overview the process technology team and application team , develop production guideline and lead the team to provide technical service production team, commercial team etc
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in chemical engineering, or a related field
- Chartered Chemical Engineer
- More than 15 years in Refinery industry in process disciplines
- Proven experience (8+ years) in technology leadership roles within the Refinery industry in process disciplines
Required Experience
- Deep knowledge of Chemical Process Engineering , including process design, production performance monitor, modification projects. .
- Strong leadership and team management skills with experience in building and leading high-performing teams.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Strategic thinker with a track record of developing and executing technology strategies that drive business growth.
- Experience in managing budgets and financial planning.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
