Job Description
We are a food contract manufacturer in plant-based protein.
As the supervisor, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including:
- Overall in-charge of the machines & equipments in the food factory, ensuring they are running smoothly, increase efficiency, maint & repair, etc. with the assistance of a technical staff.
- Developing feasible workflows for plant operations to run smoothly throughout the year
- Overseeing daily operations at the factory, hands-on person
- Implementing and maintaining good manufacturing standards in order to achieve higher efficiency, productivity and quality
- Resolving potential production issues and coordinating activities alongside the team on a timely basis
- Consolidating quantitative and qualitative data for reporting and analysis
Desired Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Prior experience and knowledge in food factory operations, minimum 5 years of relevant experience will be advantage
- Experience in certifications (BRC/FSSC22000) and local regulation (SFA, SCDF etc.) will be advantage
- Passionate about the alternative protein industry and willing to learn more about the nascent sector
- Highly driven and motivated individual, works well independently and able to be hands-on with your team
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, able to interact effectively with both internal and external stakeholders
- Excellent problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail
- Good planning, organization and project management skills
- Able to think strategically
