Job responsibilities
Assist to streamline the organisation Group safety and health management system
Conducting site group meetings such as toolbox and relaying of safety and health changes to site personnel
Capturing and reporting of monthly safety and health KPIs
Participate in incident and accident investigation
Conduct regular safety and health inspection and monitoring of closure
Ensure risk assessment and other legal aspects compliance at site level
Provide support to existing WSH system
Conducting/ participating in Safety and health inspections and system audits
Delivering organisation safety and health orientation to new employees
Other ad-hoc duties as per instructed by the WSH manager
Requirements
Possess minimum Advance Workplace Safety & Health in WSH Level B, preferably with minimum 2 years post experience. Candidate without any experience may apply.
Familiar with the Workplace Safety & Health Act and Approved Code of Practices (ACOP).
Registered with SCDF as Fire Safety Manager will be an added advantage
Well versed and familiar with risk management or had attended the Risk Management Course Level 2.
Knowledge of ISO 45001, 9001 and 14001 will be an added advantage
Attended other safety and health trainings such as managing work-at-height, management of hazardous substances, internal auditor training and other relevant safety and health training.
Having prior experience in Logistics, Transportations, Container Depots and Warehousing operations. In depth knowledge of safety legislations, regulations, standards and procedures
Team player with strong leadership, interpersonal communication and analytical skills
Self-driven, result-oriented and good initiative with hands-on can-do attitude
Good presentation skills and Proficiency in MS office (excel, words, power points and outlook)
