Uphold high standards of public health by working with the Senior Executive/Manager and a team of officers at the Eastern Regional Office‘s Investigation and Enforcement Section (IES) to investigate and enforce against offences under but not limited to the Control of Vectors and Pesticides Act 1998 and Environmental Public Health Act (EPHA).
Some of the work requirements are as follows:
- Provide sanitation operational and administrative support to execute Vector Control preventive surveillance and outbreak operations.
- Attend to and resolve feedback from members of the public to ensure timely closure.
- Engage stakeholders to create awareness and facilitate compliance to the regulations.
- Support the enforcement of the Control of Vectors and Pesticides Act (CVPA) and Environmental Public Health Act (EPHA) to ensure adherence to environmental public health requirement.
- Investigate and interview witnesses and offenders.

- Able to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders at the same time in a fast paced environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications (e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Organised and able to multi-task
- Outgoing, pleasant personality, independent and resourceful
- Experience and interest in investigation will be an advantage
