Note: We’ll hire someone to do both inbound and outbound. Inbound will be the BAU stuff with KPIs that justifies the base salary, outbound efforts will be rewarded in a form of commission.

What You’ll Do:

1. Prospecting and Lead Generation:

  • Identify and qualify potential leads from every corner of the internet, networking events, and maybe even the coffee shop down the street.
  • Develop and implement data-driven strategies to expand the lead pipeline and ensure a consistent flow of prospects.
  • Attend industry events, networking functions, and even organise a few (once a quarter) to meet potential clients, build connections, and ensure our brand is top of mind.
  • Stay top of mind by following up regularly with leads. Whether it’s calls, emails, texts, coffee chats, you’ll be keeping those conversations alive.
  • Conduct thorough research on potential clients to tailor outreach and sales strategies to their needs.
  • Initiate contact with prospects to introduce our products and services, effectively communicating our value proposition.

2. Consultative selling and pitching:

  • Handle regular inbound enquiries, responding promptly and effectively to turn interest into action.
  • Develop and deliver sales presentations that speak directly to client needs and make our training offerings impossible to resist.
  • Demonstrate a deep understanding of HighSpark’s training offerings or services, answering any questions and handling objections professionally.
  • Continuously improve and personalize sales proposals to increase conversion rates.

3. Client Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are met and expectations exceeded.
  • Act as the main point of contact for clients, providing ongoing support and addressing any issues that may arise.
  • Leverage opportunities for upselling and cross-selling to existing clients, maximizing their engagement and satisfaction.

4. Pipeline & CRM Management:

  • Use CRM tool(s) to manage sales pipeline, track interactions, and monitor the progress of deals while keeping detailed records of these and maintain up-to-date information in the CRM system.
  • Prepare regular reports on account status, including monthly/quarterly sales results and forecasts.
  • Analyze and monitor key performance metrics to drive continuous improvement and client satisfaction.

5. Sales Target Achievement and Growth:

  • Identify opportunities to grow accounts by proposing new products, services, or solutions that align with client needs.
  • Achieve sales targets by managing and negotiating contracts and closing agreements to maximize profits.
  • Work towards and exceed set sales targets and KPIs, consistently driving revenue growth.
  • Collaborate with the team to strategise and implement effective sales tactics.

Criteria:

Experience:

  • 2-3+ Years in Sales/Account Management: Proven track record of managing client accounts and achieving sales targets. Experience in B2B sales, particularly in training, consultancy, or tech industries, is a strong advantage.
  • Event & Networking Experience: Prior experience in planning, attending, or creating networking events to foster business relationships and generate leads

Skills:

  • Exceptional Communication Skills
  • Relationship Building
  • Sales Strategy & Tactics. Experience with consultative selling is a plus.
  • Prospecting skills. Experience with LinkedIn Sales Navigator is a plus.
  • CRM Proficient. Experience with Pipedrive is a bonus.
  • Problem-Solving & Adaptability
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and presentation software such as PowerPoint and Excel.

Education:

Preferred: Diploma/Degree in business, marketing, sales, or a related field.

Bonus Points:

  • Strong organizational skills.
    • Familiarity with Apple OS and Keynote software.
