Tasks:
● Develop the overall system architecture and design for the autonomous outdoor
sweeper machine.
● Lead a team of engineers and coordinate their efforts throughout the project.
● Collaborate with software engineers to develop the necessary software infrastructure
and control algorithms for the autonomous operation.
Education:
● Typically, a bachelor's or master's degree in engineering (such as Electrical,
Mechanical, or Computer Engineering) is required. Specializations in robotics,
mechatronics, or autonomous systems would be advantageous.
Technical Skills:
● Robotics and autonomous systems: Strong understanding of robotic systems,
autonomous navigation, sensor fusion, motion planning, and control
algorithms.
● Linux, ROS, C++ and Python are your thing and you are familiar with modern
software development processes.
● Sensor systems: Knowledge of various sensors used in autonomous systems,
including lidar, cameras, radar, and ultrasonic sensors.
● Problem-solving and analytical skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving
abilities are vital for identifying issues, debugging complex systems, and
proposing effective solutions.
● Communication and teamwork: Excellent verbal and written communication
skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams, document technical
specifications, and present findings effectively.
Experience:
● Autonomous systems development: Previous work on autonomous robots, or
related projects demonstrating an understanding of the challenges and
solutions.
● Systems integration: Experience in integrating hardware components,
sensors, and software systems into a cohesive autonomous platform.
● Project management: Ability to lead a team, set project milestones, manage
resources, and meet deadlines.
