Reporting to ENBD Singapore’s Head of Global Markets and Treasury, this role focuses on selling treasury products to the Wholesale Banking (Corporate, Financial Institutions) client segment. The jobholder is responsible and accountable in guiding towards achieving revenue targets which contribute to the overall Wholesale Banking Treasury Sales target. The job holder must have excellent knowledge of global markets, vanilla, and complex derivative products, how they are priced, hedged, documented, their risk profile and the payoffs.
Jobholder will agree budget targets and must monitor the overall revenue run rate against the budget and identifying areas of weakness and strength in the revenue data.
- Derivatives, FX, FD, Fixed Income sales target from the Corporate and Financial Institutions segment
- Job holder is required to work with other client segments (i.e Wealth) to assist in growing the overall derivatives’ revenue pie of the branch.
- Job holder is responsible to co-ordinate with the Group Head of Financial Institution & International Origination to leverage on Head Office resources and capability for the benefit of clients.
- Manage interdepartment and inter group relationships with the RM’s and Senior Managers of Corporate, Financial Institutions to encourage effective teamwork and build bridges for more effective sales and management.
- Jobholder is also required to train internal bank staff on treasury business, products, services, policies and procedures to ensure better understanding of treasury.
- Job holder is required to lead in the planning and implementation of structured booking initiatives of the branch.
- Job holder is required to monitor and appropriately use the MIS generated by Finance and the team and certify the accuracy of the reports generated. Also, always be on the lookout to improve the quality of the MIS.
- Job holder should also look for new initiatives, new businesses and new revenue streams to enhance and diversify the business.
- Ensure that the error rate on the desk is the lowest and look to plug holes in the system. Responsible for yearly operation risk review.
- Key Account Planning, working with the RM.
- Job holder is also required to abide and make sure that the team also abides by the A&S and other approved policies of the for Sales clients.
