We are a leading Padel business dedicated to promoting the growth and popularity of Padel sports across Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia. Our mission is to provide quality facilities, exceptional customer experiences, and innovative programs that cater to the diverse needs of our community. As we continue to expand, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Vice President of Operations to lead and optimize our operational strategies across the region.


Role Overview:
The Vice President of Operations will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our Padel facilities and ensuring the highest standards of service, efficiency, and profitability. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong background in operations management. Experience in the sports or leisure industry an advantage. The VP, Ops will work closely with the executive team to implement and enhance operational processes, drive revenue growth, and support the overall business strategy.


Key Responsibilities:


1. Operational Leadership:

  • Oversee the daily operations of Padel facilities across multiple locations, ensuring consistent service delivery and operational excellence.
  • Develop and implement operational policies, procedures, and standards to optimize efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Lead and mentor regional and facility managers, providing guidance and support to ensure the successful execution of operational plans.

2. Strategic Planning:

  • Collaborate with the executive team to develop and execute long-term strategic plans for growth and expansion.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation.
  • Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial models to support operational goals.

3. Revenue Development:

  • Drive revenue growth by identifying and implementing new business opportunities, partnerships, and service offerings.
  • Optimize pricing strategies, membership programs, and ancillary services to maximize profitability.
  • Monitor and analyze financial performance, ensuring alignment with business objectives.

4. Facility Management:

  • Ensure all Padel facilities are well-maintained, safe, and compliant with local regulations and industry standards.
  • Oversee capital improvement projects, equipment procurement, and facility upgrades.
  • Implement and manage health and safety protocols, ensuring a safe environment for all staff and customers.

5. Customer Experience:

  • Champion a customer-centric culture by ensuring that all operational activities prioritize the customer experience.
  • Develop and implement customer service training programs for staff to enhance service quality.
  • Monitor customer feedback and satisfaction, addressing any issues promptly and effectively.

6. Team Development:

  • Build and maintain a high-performing operations team by recruiting, training and retaining top talent.
  • Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment that encourages innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Implement performance management processes to evaluate and enhance team performance.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in operations management, preferably within the sports, leisure, or hospitality industry.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing multi-location operations and driving business growth.
  • Strong financial acumen, with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Knowledge of Padel or racket sports is a plus.
