Computhink is a Programming School for Kids. We provide beginner to advanced level weekly coding classes and holiday camps for students from the ages of 7 to 16.
We believe that the ability to understand and write computer programs is an essential skill in an increasingly connected and digital world. Anyone can learn to program, and we aim to make it so.

Position Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Computer Science Teacher to inspire and educate students aged 7 to 16 in the fundamentals of coding and computer science. This role requires a passionate educator who is enthusiastic about fostering a love for technology in young minds. The ideal candidate is not only technically proficient but also possesses the ability to create a supportive and engaging learning environment.
You will play a key role in developing and delivering interactive lessons that cater to diverse learning styles, while continuously staying updated on the latest technological trends. This is an opportunity to make a lasting impact on students’ academic and personal growth, helping them develop essential skills for the digital age.
Responsibilities
- Curriculum Development: Research, develop, and refine curriculum content and exercises for coding classes. Continuously improve current materials to enhance the learning experience.
- System Management: Oversee and maintain in-house systems, including the e-Learning Portal, SharePoint, Vimeo, Student Management System, and Team Password Managers.
- Student and Parent Engagement: Foster a positive learning environment by managing parent-teacher relationships and ensuring a supportive atmosphere for all students.
- Leadership and Public Engagement: Lead projects and initiatives that educate the public on the importance of coding for children, including conceptualizing and executing internal and external events like Coding Hackathons.
- Teaching: Conduct small group coding classes for children aged 7 to 16, effectively leading, inspiring, and managing students in a group setting.
Qualifications
- Eligibility: This position is open only to Singaporeans or PRs. We are unable to consider applications from other nationalities at this time.
- Educational Background: Diploma in Information Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or Science, with a strong preference for Polytechnic diploma holders in Computer Science or related fields. Fresh graduates are welcome.
- Technical Skills: Solid programming background with a strong willingness to learn and adapt.
- Experience: Prior experience working with young children is highly desirable.
