We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Manager/Deputy Manager (Marine Fuels and Services) to join our dynamic team at PIL. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the procurement, delivery, and operations of marine fuels, ensuring smooth operations of services like lubricant and fresh water supply, and developing new procedures for alternative fuel bunkering.


Key Responsibilities:

· Support AGM and Deputy Manager in daily and weekly bunker procurement activities.

· Act as 2nd in charge of bunker delivery operations and manage physical bunker operations.

· Review lab analysis reports on bunker samples and follow up with suppliers and vessels.

· Track, investigate, and follow up on bunker quantity and quality incidents.

· Provide input on bunker-related specifications for newbuild and chartered vessels.

· Oversee fleet support services such as lubricant planning, fresh water resupply, and sludge disposal.

· Support strategic supplier management by monitoring service level performance.


MUST HAVE:

· Degree with 4+ years of relevant experience, or Diploma with 7+ years of experience.

· Alternatively, CoC 2 (Deck or Engine) with 4+ years of seagoing experience and 2+ years in a marine fuels-related role.

· Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.

· Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

· Prior experience in the marine fuels industry or vessel operations is an advantage.
