Singapore iconic and homegrown heritage Food Services and Manufacturing company, HarriAnns (www.harrianns.com) is looking for a Food Technologist to join their dynamic teams. This R&D and Technical role is to accelerate our innovation activities and business expansions in Singapore and overseas.
Roles and Responsibilities
- To work closely with Executive Chef and Marketing team to conceptualize and spearhead product innovation and technology development based on active market research E.g. new product introductions, healthier choice products / shelf life extensions / clean labelling.
- To conduct sensory evaluation and R & D with new and/or alternative raw materials / recipes.
- To work closely with our Executive Chef and the Manufacturing team for continuous improvement and technology automation initiatives.
- To ensure product compliance with customer, government and regulatory requirements within the countries of use.
- To adhere to food safety (HACCP & ISO 22000) and quality assurance initiatives in HQ.
- Any other adhoc duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualification and Experience
- Bachelor / Diploma in Food Science & Technology or related fields.
- Preferably 2 years of working experience in relevant industries.
- Basic to moderate knowledge of food regulations with specific emphasis on nutritional labelling, natural food ingredients, Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
- Ability to work independently and possesses initiative.
- Well-versed in online digital skills.
- A passion for good food.
