Application Support Specialist (Cluster Office)

Candidate will be the Medical Device & Operating Technology lead. He/She is responsible to lead, support and provide guidance to the operations teams to ensure successful and smooth delivery of the system, ensure system resiliency. Liaise with stake holders, champion users or vendors on the daily reported operation issues, issues tracking and resolution.

He/She possesses strong analytical skills in the completion of service operations related activities and is responsible for tracking and analysing important reports covering service performance metrics and operations activities.



Roles and Responsibilities

i. Drives internal and 3rd party service provider / vendor review meetings covering performance, service improvements, quality and processes

ii. Assist as Subject Matter Expert and Drive organizational capability to effectively apply service operations and maintenance framework

iii. Troubleshoot and resolution of service health issues and bring relevant parties to resolve impediments impacting service performance

iv. Assist in blueprints for operational support material for disciplines of applications are concise and complete; covering (internal security and technology standards)

v. Organise system activities including planned maintenance events, system backup processes and disaster recovery drills.

vi. Provide guidance to the team to ensure the best support and best standarization of approaches possible for systems availability

vii. Coach team members to meet common objectives and overcome operation hurdles.

viii. Support and assist in high severity incidents and drive problem management meetings

ix. Collaborate with multiple internal teams across disparate groups to restore services when incidents occurred, gather required experts to perform root cause analysis for problem resolution

x. Assist senior leaders in disaster recovery planning and activities

xi. Lead and perform work planning and budgeting. E.g., review and write approval papers.

xii. Understand procurement, system, and security policy to ensure compliance during implementation/maintenance period.



Requirements / Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or other highly technical, scientific discipline

• At least 12 yrs of Technical / Application experience

• Proven track record of leading large technology teams comprising of application and technology related domains

• Proven track record for managing IT budget and drive key IT strategies related to Service Operations

• ITIL v3/v4 certification and strong service oriented experience / background

• Knowledge and understanding of IT industry environment and business needs
