Position Overview:
As a Sales Engineer, you will bridge the gap between our technical team and our clients. You will leverage your technical expertise and sales acumen to understand client requirements, provide tailored solutions, and support the sales process. Your role will involve both technical consultation and sales activities, working to ensure client satisfaction and drive revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Consultation: Engage with clients to understand their technical needs and requirements, providing expert advice and solutions.
- Solution Design: Develop and present customized solutions based on client specifications and needs, ensuring alignment with our product and service offerings.
- Sales Support: Assist the sales team by providing technical expertise during the sales process, including product demonstrations, presentations, and technical documentation.
- Proposal Development: Prepare and deliver detailed technical proposals and quotes, addressing client questions and concerns.
- Relationship Building: Cultivate strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, fostering trust and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Market Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends, competitive products, and market conditions to provide relevant insights and recommendations.
- Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, product development, and other internal teams to ensure the successful implementation of solutions and resolve any technical issues that arise.
- Training: Provide training and support to clients and internal teams on product features, benefits, and applications.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in a sales engineering role or a related technical sales position.
- Sales Skills: Proven ability to drive sales and achieve targets.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present technical information clearly and persuasively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Customer-Focused: Strong customer service orientation with a commitment to understanding and meeting client needs.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to analyze complex problems, develop solutions, and address client concerns effectively.
