Job Responsibilities:
- HR Support : Manage and update employee records within the human resource information system. Ensure all HR practices comply with relevant legislation, regulations, standards, and organizational policies.
- Compensation and Benefits : Oversee monthly payroll for the Regional Headquarters and international branches (Malaysia, Vietnam, Australia). Ensure timely and accurate submission of CPF contributions, IR21 forms, and annual income tax declarations. Handle government reimbursement claims.
- Recruitment/On-boarding & Off-boarding : Assist with the recruitment process by updating job descriptions, posting job openings, scheduling interviews, and conducting background/reference checks. Prepare appointment letters, coordinate onboarding programs, and announce new hires. Manage work pass applications, renewals, cancellations, and related issues.
- Training and Development : Support the company’s training initiatives by sourcing training providers and programs. Coordinate and track both in-house and external training sessions. Assist in evaluating training effectiveness, handling training administration tasks, and maintaining training records. Liaise with government authorities regarding funding, grants, and support. Generate training reports and statistics.
- Performance Management : Aid in periodic performance appraisals and staff confirmation processes. Conduct communication briefings and refresher sessions. Support research on salary, promotion increments, and bonuses.
- Other ad-hoc duties/ projects as assigned by managers
Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma in Human Resources, or equivalent is preferred
- Minimum 3 years of work experience in the area of Human Resources including payroll-processing
- Good knowledge and interpretation of the employment Act and government regulations
- Knowledge in Unit4 Prosoft and SuccessFactors are advantageous
- Ability to maintain confidentiality with highly sensitive data
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (e.g. Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Detail orientated with strong organizational skill
- Good interpersonal and problem solving skills
- Able to work as a team as well as independently
- Agility to learning and adapt to changes
- Customer & quality centric mindset
- Positive & pro-active attitude towards work
