JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Risk & Compliance Manager
We are looking for a person who is genuinely interested in the AML, KYC, and FCC space with the ability to research, interpret and advise our clients on their everchanging regulatory requirement needs from a Policy, Operations and Technology perspective. You will work on varied projects covering all areas of Risk and Compliance in Regulated Financial Institutions and in general risk areas for non-regulated companies in areas such as ABC, vendor/third party risk and enterprise risk management. Experience in ERM , ESG or Data Analytics in the Risk space is a plus.
The Manger is responsible for:
· Reviewing, validating, or developing Compliance policies and procedures.
· Supporting application for payments and capital market license for clients
· Evaluating and recommending technology led solutions for risk management adding valuable and creative suggestions to the proposal development process.
· Discuss industry trends and related solutions.
· Leading projects and client engagements including supporting thought leadership in the Risk space
· Networking and business development
REQUIRED GENERAL KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
· 8 years’ experience in Consulting or the Financial Services Industry
· Strong analytical skills; creative problem solving; self-starter; previous project management leadership experience.
· Strong interpersonal skills to interact with and lead teams while fostering client relationships.
· High degree of business ethics and understanding of the need to safeguard highly sensitive confidential information.
· Excellent written communication skills including the creation of policies and procedures.
· Must be able to maintain professional demeanor and execute effectively in times of high stress.
EDUCATIONAL & PROFESSIONAL CREDENTIALS
· Graduate degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or equivalent.
· Advanced knowledge in one or more of the following areas: Regulatory Compliance, Financial Crime Compliance, Enterprise Risk Management.
· Good working knowledge of banking, payments, insurance and/or asset management operations and products and the regulations affecting them.
· Knowledge of Next Generation Regulatory Technology and Innovation used by Financial Services sector.
· “Big 4” or other leading consulting experience preferred
