About the role
The role will develop and define the regional business strategies, lead, coach and support the in-country Sales team and respective distributors to deliver business results in line with the growth projections. He/She will establish and streamline best practices around market education, channel development, and pipeline management for both equipment and aftermarket businesses. The responsible region is Southeast Asia and Australia.
Sales Leadership
- Lead, motivate and provide support to Centrifugal Sales Team and independent sales representatives in the region to achieve the planned sales target
- Coach and train the sales team in coordination with the regional marketing and engineering department
- Assess and address training needs with each individual on a regular basis
Sales Management and Business Development
- Work together with marketing department to perform a macro-analysis of the region and optimize the approach for certain markets
- Provide strategic input for the setup of realistic and goal-oriented business plans for each country
- Execute business development strategies and business plans for growth accordingly to the business plan of each country, setting objectives for each individual sales channel
- Monitor sales pipelines and drive business development to generate more leads
- Adherence to the company compliance policies and regulations
Qualifications
- Possess a Master/Degree in Mechancial Engineering or related fields
- More than 10 years of Sales management experience with Centrifugal Air Compressors and related products
- The role will need to have regular meetings with the manufacturing facilities representatives in Suzhou, China, hence the successful role will need to have good command of both Chinese and English language
- Possess strong people and channel management skills, team-player
- Excellent communication, presentation and training skills
- Able to travel within the region to meet clients or overseas for business needs, up to 50% travelling frequently
