Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional in business development and project management to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving business growth, managing strategic partnership, and overseeing project management activities across the Asia-Pacific region.
Job responsibilities:
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify new business opportunities.
- Perform due diligence on licensing opportunities (both in-licensing and out-licensing) for late-stage clinical products in the Asia-Pacific region.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, government, and oversea counterparts.
- Responsible for Alliance Management with commercial partners in Asia-Pacific region.
- Lead contractual negotiations and secure contracts/business deals with potential clients and partners.
- Oversee and monitor the project progress, ensuring the projects are completed on time, within scope and budget.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution.
- Liaise directly with oversea counterparts, ensure that clients’ requirements are expressed clearly and understood correctly, and collect information and feedback to Singapore team.
- Hosting meetings and events to support business development and foster collaboration.
- Support the investment team in the due diligence, investment and divestment process.
Job requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Life Science or Business Discipline or related field.
- MBA is preferred.
- Candidate who has experience in investment/divestment/incubator will be preferrable.
- Minimum of 10 years of working experience in pharmaceutical industries, strong understanding of drug development processes, market dynamics, and intellectual property considerations.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders
- Business proficiency in Chinese Language and English, as this role requires to liaise with China counterpart on a daily basis
