Our client a large financial institution is looking for a highly skilled Lead NetworkEngineer to lead their network team. You will be responsible to lead a team responsible for network design, Network implementation as well as providing production support on mission critical network
Key Responsibilities:
- Leading network support and troubleshooting (L2) for enterprise network
- Plays lead role in proposeing technical solution and will work with internal colleagues to define the roadmap and milestones.
- Provide level 3 support, assisting with troubleshooting and design, configuration, and escalated problem management.
- Overseeing large network project implementations
- Maintain uptodate knowledge of industry trends and best practices in network technology and security.
- Configuring routers, switches, firewalls, and other networking devices to ensure optimal performance and security.
- Maintaining accurate network documentation, diagrams, and operational procedures.
- Providing regular reports on network health, performance, and security.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Min 3 years in network lead role
- Minimum 13 years experiance in routing and switching (Cisco, Juniper))
- Strong analytical skills to troubleshoot complex network issues, identify root causes and perform remediation activities.
- Proven experience in network design and deployment
- Working knowledge of standard ITIL process, Incident, Change, Problem and configuration management.
- Preferred certifications such as CCIE or Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP), or equivalent industry certifications.Good level of understanding in complex troubleshooting and resolving issues with clients
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven solution architecture and design experience
