The HR Manager has to perform a full spectrum of HR
functions and provide effective HR partnering support to the church ministries’ leaders in all HR matters. You will facilitate daily HR operations and be involved with the implementation of HR projects and talent initiatives to support Church revival.
RESPONSIBILITIES, INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
- Manage end-to-end employee life cycle – from talent acquisition, onboarding, employee engagement, employee relations matters, performance management to off-boarding.
- Talent acquisitions include end to end recruitment and selection process; including arrange for interview and collaborate with department heads to understand the skills and competencies required for openings.
- Develop and update job descriptions, SOPs, policies, forms and work instructions.
- Create learning and development programs and initiatives that provide internal development opportunities for employees.
- Maintain employees’ database, personnel files and employee’s handbook.
- Manage employee benefits including leave, insurance claims, and renewals.
- Application, renewal and cancellation of work passes.
- Initiate and execute projects for process improvement and policies enhancements.
- Organize and manage projects independently and competently from conceptualisation, planning to execution.
- Support and assist with special projects (where applicable) and any other duties as assigned.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Degree/ Diploma in Business & Human Resource related studies.
- Minimum 5 years of HR generalist experience for HR Manager position.
- Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company.
- In-depth knowledge of labour law and HR best practices in accordance to TAFEP guidelines.
- Strong communication, interpersonal and analytical skills.
- IT Savvy and competent in using HRIS and Microsoft Office applications.
- Meticulous and organised team player who is able to multi-task.
- Positive with continuous learning attitude and innovative.
- Able to work on Sundays and be involved in our church services. (5-day work week. Wednesday is rest day.)
