Job Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintain servers, storage devices, network equipment, and other infrastructure components.
- Monitor system performance and proactively identify and resolve issues to ensure optimal uptime and reliability.
- Manage and troubleshoot directory services.
- Administer and maintain Microsoft 365.
- Implement and maintain security measures, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and antivirus solutions.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and patch management to protect against security threats.
- Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans to minimize downtime in the event of system failures or disasters.
- Automate routine tasks and processes using scripting languages and automation tools to improve efficiency and productivity.
- Collaborate with other IT team members and departments to design and implement new solutions or enhancements that meet business needs.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to end-users, including desktop support and application support.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and best practices in systems administration and make recommendations for improvements.
- Create and maintain documentation for system configurations, procedures, and policies.
Key Qualification:
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience in IT management roles, with a proven track record of leading IT teams and managing complex IT projects.
- Strong technical expertise in IT infrastructure, networking, security, and systems administration.
