Job Description
- Manage projects/enhancements from initiation to closure.
- Investigate back-office application issues reported by users.
- Proactively track the progress, risks, issues and dependencies.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and perform acceptance testing with users.
- Collaborate with Business Managers, Project Managers and Technology teams to define project scope, objectives, requirements, and deliverables.
- Collect, analyze, document and breakdown requirements to actionable projects and tasks.
- Facilitate cross-team collaboration, coordinate cross-functional efforts, drive prioritization and technical alignment.
- Manage stakeholders’ expectations and communication.
- Identify and drive process improvements.
- Any other duties as and when assigned.
Job Requirements
To thrive and be successful in this role, you must have/be:
- Degree or Diploma in Computing Science/IT/Engineering or equivalent.
- 3 years’ experience in the brokering industry
- 3 years’ experience in managing projects.
- Domain knowledge of Securities and/or Derivatives broking is an advantage.
- Experience working with any of: Cloud Technologies (AWS), Microservices, Build & Release Pipelines, MQ technologies.
- Basic SQL
- Basic experience on network.
- Experience on Fidessa, GL and/or UL Link.
- Linux experience is an advantage.
- Ability to speak and read Chinese is a plus point.
- Ability to work as a team player as well as an independent performer, possessing good communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work on multiple tasks concurrently.
