We are helping our clients meet the challenges faced in countries and cities across the globe, providing innovative solutions from replacing conventional thermal power plants with renewable energy to developing demand side management strategies.
We are looking to hire a Senior Transmission Network Engineer to join our Energy and Power team in the Singapore office. Main duties:
- Manage transmission project deliverables and schedule within a multi-discipline design or consulting project (substation and/or transmission line)
- Manage projects (delivery, resourcing and financials) for the Energy and Power group, including projects outside of the transmission line space.
- Prepare preliminary concepts, specifications and documentation for substation and/or transmission line works
- Review contractor documentation and project implementation schedules/procedures
- Prepare and review capital cost estimates
- Carry out field activities such as site inspection, construction monitoring, observations, measurements, etc., and prepare assessment and inspection reports
To be a successful candidate, you must possess a minimum of Bachelor's Degree in Engineering and have at least 5 years experience in overhead transmission networks.
Good understanding of key areas in Transmission Line networks, including Consenting, Community/stakeholder engagement; Authority engagement; Managing contracts; Negotiations and dispute resolution; Business case/plans for new transmission line development;
