Reporting to a Sr HR Manager, the ideal incumbent is sharing the team responsibility of HR related tasks and activities to onsite HoD and staff, and sometime the region. The responsibility covers but not limited to benefits admin, HRIS system update and maintenance, local/statutory reports and surveys, communication, employee lifecycle activities, work pass admin and employee relations with the objective of employee relations management with the aim to not only delighting but exceeding internal customer experience and expectation, around and within department guidelines and corporate policies.
Learning and Development
Responsible for company training plan, training providers, management reports and training administration and logistics with the objective of ensuring the timely execution of the company training plan and reporting within department guidelines and corporate policies.
Employee Relations
Responsible development and administration of the employee relations to promote employee welfare, such as resolving human relations problems and promoting employee health and well-being.
AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
Learning and Development
- Champion the L&D function of the organization
- Conduct training need analysis and define the training and development roadmap for employees in Asia
- Program Management and Delivery - Plan and schedule learning programs to optimize the use of training resources
- Work in close collaboration with management, line departments or business units, and staff to ensure smooth implementation and administration of learning & development programmes
- Support the roll-out of Global L&D Learning Management System (LMS)
- Design and measure learning effectiveness of training programs
- Training administration and logistics - administer and follow-up on the training forms such as training application, training evaluation, training needs analysis, attendance sheet, etc. including but not limited to perform course registration and related documentation. Update and maintain individual employee training records. Maintain training database for reports extraction. Arrange and manage the logistics for in-house training programs
- Management reporting - prepare management report and provide data and trends analysis; collate and prepare the data and charts for relevant scorecard reporting in order to ensure timely reporting to management and Corporate HR and to ensure the smooth running of training programmes and proper documentation for audit purpose.
- Prepares training budget for Asia entities
Employee Relations
- Champion the Employee Engagement initiatives and promote workplace inclusiveness
- Support the global employee engagement surveys, analyses data collected and implements initiatives to enhance employees' engagement levels and well-being
- Support the management of workplace issue, investigates routine grievances raised and proposes resolutions.
- Conducts exit interviews and prepares reports for management reporting
Experience & educational qualifications:
Degree or diploma in Human Resource Management or equivalent
With at least 5-6 years of experience in Learning and Development and Employee Relations in a MNC environment.
Relevant experience in a manufacturing environment is an added advantage
Technical / Job Knowledge:
Knowledge of human resource development processes and practices
Understanding of government training grants and schemes
Hands-on experience in training application software
Understanding of Employment Act
