Job Description
We are looking for detail-oriented Food Packers to join our team. You will be responsible for packing meals efficiently, ensuring that all food items are handled safely, and ensuring orders are accurate and ready for delivery to preschools. This role is essential in maintaining our high standards of quality and hygiene while supporting the kitchen and delivery teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately pack meals according to the daily order requirements and school menus.
- Ensure all meals are packed in accordance with food safety and hygiene regulations.
- Label and organize meal packages clearly for distribution to various school locations.
- Inspect food packaging for quality, ensuring that portion sizes and presentation are consistent.
- Assist with managing and organizing packing materials and packaging inventory.
- Ensure that packing areas are kept clean and sanitized throughout the shift.
- Report any issues related to packing, food quality, or shortages to the supervisor.
- Follow specific dietary packaging requirements (e.g., meals for allergies, vegetarian, etc.).
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in food packing, catering, or a similar role is preferred but not required.
- Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail to ensure meal orders are packed accurately.
- Basic understanding of food safety and hygiene practices (training will be provided).
- Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
- Positive attitude and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food safety.
