Visiting Professor
Appointment period: 1 year in the first instance, with a possibility of extension.
Duties
The person is expected to:
- continue the development of research collaboration and publications with our faculty
- present seminar on applied health service research and health systems evaluation, and share research experience and knowledge on healthcare workforce development
- conduct grant writing and publication writing workshops for junior faculty
- discuss potential areas of research collaboration with faculty
- serve as a link for international research collaboration
Qualifications
The applicant should:
- have a doctoral degree and has expertise in health service research, particularly in healthcare workforce development
- able to work in multidisciplinary teams
- have a track record of publishing in high impact international peer-reviewed journals and obtaining competitive research grants
- have experience in independently leading research studies of a component within larger research programme
- have prior Professor appointment in a reputable University
- have a track record of leadership position in academic environment with at least 10 years of relevant experience
- be Independent with strong emphasis on team work
- possess strong interpersonal skills, is meticulous, organised, proactive and have an investigative nature
