Role Overview: We are seeking a Credit Risk Manager to oversee and manage the credit risk of our Consumer Financing portfolio. This role involves implementing and executing credit policies, assessing and analyzing credit risk, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement credit policies and risk management strategies.
- Review and enhance credit policies and procedures.
- Establish controls and limits to manage credit risk.
- Analyze and improve underwriting criteria.
- Explore new opportunities and assess existing policies.
- Participate in risk management initiatives and business-related projects.
- Design strategies to manage risk and support product growth.
- Review proposals for new products to address and mitigate credit risk.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Handle ad-hoc assignments from management.
Requirements:
- Degree in Finance, Banking, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
- At least 8 years of experience in credit risk management, with a focus on consumer credit.
- Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- Familiarity with banking industry and products.
- Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Fluent in English (spoken and written).
