Functional strategy Execution
- Conduct research, collect and analyze data, and generate reports to support decision-making processes.
- Responsible for the business strategy execution. This includes ensuring that the business strategic initiatives are on track by holding regular meetings with relevant stakeholders to help resolve roadblocks to ensure the strategic initiatives are moving forward.
- Responsible for preparing and running the business’s strategic leadership meetings and coordinating the administrative work. This includes identifying the objectives and contents, defining the meeting design, and making sure the desired outcome is achieved and followed through with.
- Represent the VP Commercial Operations APAC in selected projects and meetings to gain an overview of the status and contribute to move projects forward.
Communication & Coordination
- Act as a liaison between the VP and country, regional and global teams, ensuring open and efficient communication channels.
- Support the VP Commercial Operations APAC and MD Southeast Asia and Taiwan to plan and prepare events like townhalls, summits, and regional leadership meetings as well as newsletters to ensure the commercial region speaks with one voice and provides the right message at the right time to the right audience.
- Act as connector between workstreams/ initiatives that would otherwise remain siloed.
- Act as communicator linking the leadership team and the broader organization.
- Coordinate urgent special cross-functional projects/ task forces. These projects are limited in time to keep resources available for other tasks. It may be possible that the role also acts as the initiator of a more complex/ longer project but only in an initiation phase until a solution for a longer-term Project Manager is defined.
- The role is the owner of the operational leadership meetings. This includes ensuring contents are available in time, roles are defined, and decisions/ action items are properly documented after the meeting.
Operational Excellence
- Oversee operational activities and processes, identifying inefficiencies and implementing improvements as necessary.
- Collaborate with countries and various teams to develop and monitor annual budgets and financial forecasts for the region.
- Establish and maintain KPIs and dashboards to track progress and measure results of the commercial region.
- Serve as sounding board for APAC executive leadership team
General Administration
- Manage the calendars and schedules of the APAC VP and the MD SEA and Taiwan, ensuring efficient use of time and prioritization of tasks.
- Coordinate travel arrangements for the Executive and Senior Management travel, including booking flights, accommodations, and transportation.
- Provide administrative support as needed, including expense claims, drafting emails, preparing presentations, and organizing meetings.
Your Talents
- Bachelor in Business, MBA will be preferred
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar project management or business development role
- Strong effective communicator with large stakeholder groups and senior leaders; able to influence decisions and achieve buy-in to drive forward key topics
- Experience working and navigating in a multinational company; MedTech experience a bonus
- Ability to lead projects and handle multiple tasks independently and effectively
- Self-starter with a positive and solution-oriented mindset that can work efficiently under deadlines
- Fluent in English
