Job Purpose:
The Lead/Consultant will support the Executive Director in driving the growth and execution of ESG risk and reporting services for Baker Tilly Singapore.
Responsibilities:
1) Provide end to end ESG risk advisory and reporting services for the firm’s clients.
- Conduct assessment to determine client’s gaps and outline ESG priorities.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of ESG/sustainability roadmaps, including net zero, decarbonization, carbon target setting, and circular economy initiatives.
- Evaluate and integrate ESG considerations into business risk and internal audit frameworks.
- Assist in the development and implementation of sustainable business models, including strategic, operational, and financial models.
- Support ESG reporting, including the use of data analytics solutions and the application of accounting and valuation methodologies.
2) Collaborate with various teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality ESG advisory and consulting services.
3) Stay updated on global, regional, and country-specific climate change strategies and regulations.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in auditing, consulting, or a related field.
- Degree in Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Environmental Studies and Sustainability, or Accounting with certification in Sustainability Standards.
- Proven track record of supporting client engagements and delivering high-quality services.
- Strong technical competencies in financials, accounting, and risk management.
- Knowledgeable in International Sustainability Standards such as SDGs, GRI, SASB, TCFD, and emerging reporting requirements.
- Experience in sustainability/ESG work, including strategy, reporting, and assurance.
- Good working knowledge of global, regional, and country-specific climate change strategies and regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
