Duties & Responsibilities
- Track constantly the backup status for SAP and non-SAP servers and update the SOP if there is any change in the backup configurations. Provide timely update to the Operations Manager for any backup failure.
- Ensure that SSL Certificates in SAP and non-SAP servers are renewed timely.
- Work closely with other interfacing systems to ensure operational efficiency and interoperability with the interfacing systems.
- Assess the design and ensure implementations in the system achieves data quality, usability, and compatibility with other interfacing systems.
- Also identify areas in other interfacing systems and the system to improve integration and operation efficiency.
- Liaise with the relevant parties to resolve issues and verify that all rectifications are satisfactorily performed prior to updating the Operations Manager on the closure.
- Consolidate and prepare submission of the Log Review Report, Performance Management Report / Post Implementation Review for update to the Operations Manager.
- Consolidate and prepare submission of checklists related to audit, compliance and governance, and update the Operations Manager.
- Monitor and track the technical Change Request (CR) / Service Request (SR) that are being implemented and ensure proper closure, including maintaining the required documents in Organisation’s case management system.
- Monitor software maintenance contracts, liaise with procurement to prepare, renew and establish contracts where applicable and where there is no conflict of interest.
- Prepare monthly project progress reporting to the Operations Manager, management and to various forums, prepare for presentations for meetings when required.
- Prepare Variation Agreements documents for implementation and CR and seek approval from the Organisation.
- Work with the System Maintenance/Vendor(s) on :
- design solutions proposal that will involve requirement gathering & evaluation, review CR effort, assess impact.
- ensuring contract related to the respective CR is raised correctly and timely.
- monitoring of the SR raised and assess impact.
- improving the System Investigation Requests (SIRs) / Problem Report Management, or system defects reported by users.
- ensuring prompt resolution to defects reported, and provide prompt clarifications for the SIRs.
- ensuring timely and complete resolution of outstanding tasks that are to be completed.
- ensuring deliverables to conform to the standards and control defined for the programme.
- ensuring that the COE (Common Operating Environment) Certification is properly conducted.
Qualification & Requirements
- Only Singaporeans need apply.
- Degree/Diploma in Computer Science, Information System, Science, Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum 4 years of working experience in Information Technology.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in Project Management.
- Proficiency in Office productivity suites such as Microsoft Project and Microsoft Office.
- Good planning, co-ordination and supervisory skills.
- Strong writing, verbal communication, and presentation skills.
- Good Team Player, responsible and conscientious.
- Resourceful, independent, responsive, and pro-active.
