Job Responsibilities
- Responsible for Hardware and software installation, upgrade (i.e., system backup, apply latest system patches, software upgrades, and hardware troubleshooting).
- Install, configure, test and troubleshoot networks, servers and other infrastructure.
- Where applicable, provide level one support for HyperV, Windows servers, Active Directory, andother IT infrastructure.
- Assist the Lead Engineer on system setup.
Job Requirements
- Minimum Computer-related Diploma is preferred.
- At least 2 years of experience in server and storage operations and maintenance.
- Working knowledge on Windows Server operating
systems and Hyper-V.
- Knowledge on CentOS and Ubuntu OS is an added advantage.
- Familiar with basic networking knowledge, such as TCP/IP protocols, firewall etc. Capable of independently configure network cards, IP, etc.
- Possess good English reading and writing abilities
to meet the language requirements for working in Singapore (e.g., IELTS 6.5+, CET6).
- Candidate MUST be willing to learn on the job and acquire the following skills:
-- Nagios monitoring system.
-- APM tools such as AppDynamics.
-- Write automation scripts using Python
-- SendQuick SMS software
-- Configure and maintain CentOS, Ubuntu OS VM
