The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing data management within the enterprise data distribution channel.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with business stakeholders (such as research analysts, quantitative strategists, end-users, and data producers), data engineers, the platform team, and data scientists to implement and support data distribution solutions.
- Contribute to, influence, and validate the design of data distribution solutions to ensure alignment with both business and operational requirements.
- Manage data access control operations to ensure compliance with enterprise data governance and handling standards for ingested and distributed data.
- Lead discussions with the business and metadata teams to ensure proper registration of datasets.
- Perform Data Requirements analysis, Data Profiling, Integration and Source System Readiness.
- Define, document and harmonize data quality rules, policies, approval processes, critical metrics, data profiling, exception reports and implement control plans to ensure data remains clean.
- Perform data validation testing and periodic audits for data quality.
Requirements:
- Min 3 years of relevant experience in data management and data analytics.
- Strong business acumen in the financial industry and be proficient in data visualization.
- Experience understanding Metadata management, data management, as well as data integration and data distribution.
- In-depth knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), having a thorough understanding of various phases such as Requirement gathering, Analysis, Design, Development, and Testing.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, ability to communicate both verbally and written with diverse audiences at all levels of the organization.
- Effective organization and time management skills and ability to manage multiple tasks. Should be able to operate with sense of urgency.
- Agile and quick to learn, with the ability to adapt to changes.
- A strong team player with excellent analytical skills who enjoys tackling complex problems.
- Programming experience is a plus.
