Main responsibilities
· Develop, implement and test components from functional specifications.
· Elaborate technical specifications, based on functional requirements and high-level architecture.
· Contribute to technical design and liaise with business analysts on all aspects of business requirements.
· Participate in analyzing, resolving and providing technical support escalated to the team.
· Draft specifications, technical design, unit tests, peer reviews, detailed system integration documents, and any other documents as required during the project lifecycle.
· Contribute to maintaining a high standard of delivery quality.
· Participate in technical discussions and propose solutions based on industry best practices.
· Perform level 3 Support of applications in production - analyse and resolve issues as they arise.
· Setup and track individual team member KPI with proper audit trail by reviewing on fixed intervals and in case of improvements needed, to propose improvement plans with member
· Discover and groom talents within the team, plan for succession and redundancy
· Create team culture and condition to promote and maintain good level of staff motivation.
Qualifications and Profile
This position requires a minimum of 4 years of relevant experiences in COBOL and C.
Technical
· Micro Focus COBOL
· C and Pro*C languages
· Shell scripting
· SQL/PL-SQL
· Knowledge on Java-J2EE will be an advantage
Nice to have
· Docker, Kubernetes

Functional
· General knowledge or background in financial accounting is a plus.
