We are seeking a Technical Marketing professional who possesses a strong grasp of technical understanding, exceptional marketing acumen, and communication skills, to help translate our technical edges into compelling marketing positions and messages.
Duties
- Assist pre-sales efforts.
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of our products, not just the functionalities but also how they can be utilised in various scenarios.
- Externally, serve as the company’s technical expert and evangelist (with emphasis on our KYC solutions), articulate the nuances of our products, and communicate complex technical concepts in a clear, customer-friendly manner.
- Work closely with peer teams to craft compelling messaging and positioning for new products and features. Lead the creation and execution of comprehensive go-to-market plans.
- Work with product teams to ensure that new products meet customer needs and align with market demands.
- Generate and/or proofread product brochures, user manuals and application notes.
- Ensure the readability and user-friendliness of external-facing technical documentation, including installation guides and release notes.
- Act as the primary technical liaison for customers and partners, addressing technical queries about our products.
- Troubleshoot customer and user issues and escalate them to the appropriate engineering or support teams.
- Create and maintain demo environments to showcase the company’s products
- Be part of the team for managing beta programs for new products and features.
- Provide feedback on the feasibility and timing of potential opportunities.
- Lead the Proof of Concept phase of the sales cycle.
- Overseas business trips expected.
Qualifications and Required Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field. Master’s degree preferred.
- 5+ years’ experience in the software industry (preferably FinTech, security, networks, databases, and/or blockchain) being in roles such as pre-sales, technical marketing, or product marketing.
- Knowledge and experience in relevant technologies crucial for building trust and instilling confidence in our customers
- Strategic marketing abilities to apply technical knowledge to promote products, improvise and gage the feasibility and timing of opportunities.
- Excellent communication skills, particularly, in simplifying and articulating complex technical concepts in an easily digestible manner.
- Strong analytical abilities, with experience using data to inform decisions.
- Native or professional-level spoken and written English.
- Proven ability in public speaking.
