Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement network architectures for LAN/WAN/Wireless
- Configure and deploy routing protocols (OSPF, EIGRP, BGP).
- Implement switching protocols (STP, MSTP, VLANs).
- Design and implement network security measures (firewalls, ACLs, VPNs).
- Support, Configure, Maintain and Upgrade corporate customer’s network devices
- Ensure network security and connectivity
- Monitor network performance (availability, utilization, throughput and latency)
- Incident/Problem/Change/Service Request/Configuration Management.
- Create and maintain technical documentation (network diagrams, configurations).
- Assist in network design and implementation.
Experience:
- 8 - 10 years of experience in supporting, configuration, maintenance, and upgrading corporate customer’s network devices.
- Preferably CCNP certified (Routing and Switching) or actively pursuing a CCNP certification.
- Good understanding and hands-on experience of networking protocols like routing and switching and Wireless (Physical experience in data centres for all Network devices/equipment).
- Experience in Firewall configuration and network security policy implementation. Hands-on experience on FortiGate/Cisco/Palo Alto/Aruba/ Huawei is desirable.
- Experience in debugging and fixing technical problems in network by coordinating with vendors, data centre and onsite support teams whenever required.
- Have experience in creating network documents and flow diagrams.
- Hands-on remote access and site to site VPN.
- Experience in monitoring tools like solar wind, NMS, Wireshark, MRTG Cacti etc.
- Knowledge of Windows, Linux and Load Balancer will be added advantage.
