The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of experience in event production and possess a diverse skill set that includes contract negotiation, technical troubleshooting, production scheduling, vendor coordination, risk assessment, budget management, problem-solving, critical thinking, multitasking, and time management. Previous experience in the events industry is a significant plus.
What Your Day Looks Like:
- Negotiate contracts with vendors and suppliers to ensure cost-effective event production.
- Troubleshoot technical issues during events to ensure seamless execution.
- Develop and maintain production schedules to meet project timelines.
- Coordinate with vendors to source necessary equipment and services for events.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to ensure event success.
- Manage event budgets effectively to achieve financial targets.
- Solve problems creatively and efficiently to overcome challenges during event production.
- Utilize critical thinking skills to make informed decisions that enhance event outcomes.
- Multitask effectively to handle multiple aspects of event production simultaneously.
- Manage time efficiently to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality events.
What Makes You a Great Fit:
- 1-3 years of experience in event, construction and site works.
- Prior exposure in events/exhibitions/museum/gallery/thematic works projects will be an added advantage
- Strong proficiency in contract negotiation, technical troubleshooting, and production scheduling.
- Excellent vendor coordination skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
- Proven experience in risk assessment, budget management, and problem-solving.
- Demonstrated critical thinking abilities and the capacity to multitask efficiently.
- Exceptional time management skills to meet project deadlines.
- Post-secondary diploma or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Project and Facilities Management, Event Management or equivalent.
