Reporting directly to Group COO/CFO, the duties and responsibilities are:
· Monitor the actual costs according with the particular budget limits (editorial, marketing, digital) and in-house financial procedures for cost management
· Match the costs of special projects (sponsorship, advertorial, marketing) with the particular revenue of each project to ensure the requested ROI (matching IO vs related invoices)
· Communicate with team members regarding any upcoming project to plan costs and project ROI per each project in advance
· Prepare the monthly management P&L report via company’s accounting system (Xero) and groups consolidated report (Singapore+ Malaysia + Vietnam)
· Prepare the monthly management Cash Flow report and groups consolidated report (Singapore+ Malaysia + Vietnam)
· Preparation of monthly royalty reports for Licensors
· Assist regional accounting team in Malaysia and Vietnam to streamline costs management, preparation of P&L and Cashflow reports via Xero
· Participating in budgeting processes
· Weekly status meeting with Group COO/CFO: 1-2 times per week
· Tracking and making sure all records are correlated to the correct costs centre upon preparation of management P&L via Xero
· Cover other finance team members if they are on leave
Requirements:
· Degree in Accountancy / Finance or CA/CPA
· Minimum 5 years of experience in Accounting
· Advanced XERO user is a MUST
· Proficient in MS Excel is a MUST
· Well-organized, demonstrate a high level of attention to detail
· Independent, meticulous
· Self-driven and able to work within tight deadlines
· Strong analytical, communication and interpersonal skills
· Commercially minded
· Ready for short business trip to the regional offices
