Key Responsibilities:
- Perform detailed credit analysis & review for new & existing loan portfolios (both local & overseas)
- Detailed loan synopsis to make recommendations for loan acceptance/rejection
- Perform loan portfolio analysis, industry analysis & market comparison studies
- Work closely with major stakeholders to ensure that day to day credit risk issues are handled & addressed appropriately
- Assist to supervise/oversee administrative work related to credit risk
- Assist in the implementation of workflows and systems in accordance with business strategies & policies relating to credit risk
- Mentor & guide junior credit analysts in their daily work
- Spearhead end-to-end execution of special projects assigned by Management
- Regular business travel is expected
Requirements:
- Degree in Engineering / Business / Finance / Accountancy with at least 8-10 years relevant experience, preferably in a supervisory capacity
- Business minded, able to balance between risk & commercial requirements
- Has a personal interest in financial markets & analysis; able to digest financial statements to form an informed analysis of an entity’s financial health
- Able to speak and write to stakeholders in English and Mandarin as candidate is required to communicate with fiance team in China along as well as chinese customers.
